What does your job entail?

Teaching community members about paying for power that is coming in July 2022.

Who and what inspired you to join the Pawa Atunmankunytjaku team?

I knew about the job but because I had never worked before I was a bit shy about applying. When the Pawa Atunmankunytjaku team came to my house to let my dad and I know about the program, I thought to myself I could do this job and applied. I was successful and joined the team on the last day of the first week of the roll out of the program in Amata. The role I like best in the program is showing and talking about the big book we have Nganampa Tjukurpa Pawatjara : The story of our electricity

Where do you see yourself in 6 months time?

Still working for the Pawa Atunmankunytjaku team and living in Amata

What’s the best advice you can give to someone who just started working in the Pawa Atunmankunytjaku team?

Just let the person know to have fun and learn (I just started myself)

What’s the most exciting thing you are working on right now or have completed?

In the last two months I have gained two jobs, one with the Pawa Atunmankunytjaku team and the Census team. Before that I had never had proper paid employment.

I love cooking cakes
