How long have you been with the Pawa Atunmankunytjaku team?

June  2021 

What does your job entail?

Teaching community members about the paid power project that is coming in July 2022. My favourite part of the job is explaining the large book we have as a resource called Nganampa Tjukurpa Pawatjara (The Story of our Electricity).

Who and what inspired you to join the Pawa Atunmankunytjaku team?

A friend of mine told me about the job as she was going to apply but never did.

Where do you see yourself in 6 months time?

More confident in my role and in myself.

What’s the best advice you can give to someone who just started working in the Pawa Atunmankunytjaku team?

It’s a fun job and we are learning more ourselves about the SA Government introducing paid power 

What’s the most exciting thing you are working on right now or have completed?

 I have two jobs at present and they are both working well with each other.

What is the toughest challenge you have had so far in your role:

Working in the cold wind when we are doing the door knocking at each house in Amata

How would you describe your job to other people?

Educating community members about the new power program and how they can save money and electricity

What was your first job?

Working at Yuendumu in 2018 in the outback store
