What does your job entail?

Educating my community about the introduction of paid power. I’m the poster book specialist!

Who and what inspired you to join the Pawa Atunmankunytjaku team?

I saw the advertisement at the MoneyMob Talkabout Pukatja office.

Where do you see yourself in 6 months time?

I want to still be working with the project and doing the house visits on the smart meter.

What’s the best advice you can give to someone who just started working in the Pawa Atunmankunytjaku team?

Have fun, work hard and enjoy the training.

What’s the most exciting thing you are working on right now or have completed?

Chatting to community members about the project.

What was your first job?

Working in the Pukatja office for Money Mob Talkabout

What is your secret talent?

I love to cook cakes when I can

What motivates you?

I am motivated by work. If I am not working I feel lazy.

Money Mob recently partnered with the Central Desert Regional Council (CDRC) to deliver information sessions to aged care residents in Atitjere, Ti Tree, Wilora, Willowra, Laramba, Yuelamu and Lajamanu.

Alongside the residents, staff and carers had a chance to learn skills in financial literacy, saving goals, debt, financial abuse, humbug and making informed decisions when spending.

We provide practical financial literacy training services for individuals to gain confidence and competence in essential financial life skills.
