Introducing Ingrid Kenny!

Jun 10, 2018 | News

We are so excited that Ingrid Kenny from Indulkana has joined MoneyMob as our new Community Services Manager! Ingrid started with us in May after working at Indulkana School for many years. Ingrid will be managing MoneyMob’s financial capability staff and helping us to better understand the financial learning needs of Anangu.  She will also be looking for ninti Anangu to work for MoneyMob.

Ingrid says;

“My name is Ingrid Kenny, I am the Community Services Manager at MoneyMob. I am an Anangu woman from Indulkana Community. Coming aboard MMT is a great opportunity and I am already enjoying working as the CSM travelling and working with the MMT staff across the APY Lands. I can’t wait to see what this year will bring for me as I love new and different challenges. I have a passion for getting out working in the Community and with Anangu”.

Money Mob recently partnered with the Central Desert Regional Council (CDRC) to deliver information sessions to aged care residents in Atitjere, Ti Tree, Wilora, Willowra, Laramba, Yuelamu and Lajamanu.

Alongside the residents, staff and carers had a chance to learn skills in financial literacy, saving goals, debt, financial abuse, humbug and making informed decisions when spending.

We provide practical financial literacy training services for individuals to gain confidence and competence in essential financial life skills.
