EEW Training: What’s next?

May 3, 2021 | Pawa Atunmankunytjaku

Since completing the first training session in Umuwa, we have engaged with the Energy Education Workers to follow up on how they enjoyed the training session, if they received their wages and if they had any questions about their role or any other concerns about the project.

In the post training evaluation survey, all of our workers indicated that they feel prepared and confident to start work.

It was great to catch up with everyone again. All workers still wanted to continue in their role. The most common question was “when can we commence door knocking in our community?”

It is great to see everyone wants to continue in their role and keen to start! We are looking forward to getting out in community.

Money Mob recently partnered with the Central Desert Regional Council (CDRC) to deliver information sessions to aged care residents in Atitjere, Ti Tree, Wilora, Willowra, Laramba, Yuelamu and Lajamanu.

Alongside the residents, staff and carers had a chance to learn skills in financial literacy, saving goals, debt, financial abuse, humbug and making informed decisions when spending.

We provide practical financial literacy training services for individuals to gain confidence and competence in essential financial life skills.
